Galaxy Life Joins the Ubisoft Family!

Hi Earthlings,

We are proud to announce that Galaxy Life and Galaxy Life Pocket Adventures are now a part of the Ubisoft family!

This means that the GL communities will have better forums, new customer support (without GetSatisfaction), and new ways to connect and communicate.

Don't worry, though. The original Galaxy Life development team is still handling the games, and they've promised tons more features and content to come.

@PCPG: This is the news I've been referring to, though I have a surprise or two up my own sleeve that I'm excited about as well.

@-alex48starlings-: We may get some more official promotion from the GL team, as they're focusing on many community areas more now. Other than that, I can't really say, but I'm certain it will have a lasting effect.

@Minifede: I can't confirm anything like that, but I can say this: 1. The Barcelona office and all of its trademarks were bought by Ubisoft, and 2. Last I heard, the Helsinki office is down to around 3 employees, all of whom are administrators, not developers. Therefore, I don't see much else for them to do. The San Mateo office is just the HQ and the Bangalore office is just storage space and customer service at this point.

@Lim Gary: Not Digital Chocolate, Ubisoft completely bought it, so it's officially an Ubisoft game now.

Thanks for the very complete info Kyle! I hope that not too much people lose their jobs. At least the game is on the big leagues now (I suppose) Hopelly they will add some new content to it in a near future, I guest. ;)
